I have been working on a streaming composite audio reactive holographic narrative system for over a decade. It layers video, standard polygons, and my specialty compressed animated point clouds with GIS data and can be styled. The idea that sent me into this rabbit hole is just turning the cell phone "ad slab" inside out. I've worked in this space for so long and it was just every six months for most of my best working years people asking me to do the same crap I'd done 100 times for a worse and worse idea.... but the phones get more and more powerful but they don't DO anything.
Here's the wiki I wrote to try to sort it all out in 2016.

I have not relinquished the IP for any of this over the last 8 years of pursusing it. I even spent almost a year working for Nvidia in their RAPIDS department. I am .... this month ... finally deploying the first few shades of all this as a product. But I'm not like trying to do a "startup". Protocols not poducts. The world doesn't have time for do nothing gatekeepers. We need the maximum utility out of every device we have access to and to be able to build new and unique experiences that we keep to ourselves or share with a few friends or blow the whole worlds mind.
WebGPU and WebASM becoming browser standards a couple months ago turned everything I was flogging myself at into a real reality. Honestly, until I really started to see that coming in 2020, I had no hope. Strangely, this gives me a lot of hope.
Anyway, while trying to find collaborators to run sales funnel, product management, etc.... yeah. I got my heart broken a bit and had to slow down. During that time I just hooked up everything I had and went for broke because otherwise I'd scream, constantly. I was even screaming in my sleep some times. I did not address any of the material I'd made until just now and I found this 10 hour livestream and it does, for a fact, demonstrate most of the things I've been trying to do all at once... pretty well! and sometimes (IMO) is kinda cool.
I want to make better stuff. I want to share what I've built with anyone that is interested. The tools are here to have the internet, the world, and the creative experiences we want.
Anyway. This is 10 hours and annoying and flashing lights. If you get time, take a look and tell me what you see and hear. Gimmy your smizzion. All of the visuals and processing are me, all music is attributed. About half of it is composed by me depending on how you slice.
If you'd like to scope the soft launch preview of the "business" version of what I've built, you can look at gpugoo.com. If you'd like to see the awesome domain I got for this holographic record label I'm starting you can check out fu7kt.com and play Wip3out until it's ready for you. If you'd like to play Super Mario 64 instead of reading my blog you can go to blog.millerhooks.com/home. If you'd like to keep an eye on the developing communications platform around it and the holding company that operates it, you can check DTMF.com.
Anyone who responds to this thread, at the end of this month I will DM you with an invite to the platform that will let you create audio reactive sharable gizmos from the crappiest airport vending machine android phone all the way up to whatever apples face lunchbox is.
If this has an acerbic tone to it... it's just that yeah. I'm letting something out like a sneeze I've been fighing for a decade. I really love that y'all accepted me into this forum because I feel like I can talk about my real intentions here and now. I've been telling people about how "Useful for Industry and "The Enterprise"" this shit is for so long. Which it is... sure... but who fucking cares.
Here's a video of the first web portal I put together that I thought was going to be THE portal in 2017.

All the point clouds were recorded on Kinect 1/2 and a little bit of the first iphone with the kinect1 crammed into the front face. Literally some of those were recorded hours after ARKit dropped.
Get at me if you wanna make a holographic record. I've got two artists I've been working with regularly, but they are still catching up. I will release a holographic record under my real name before this year is out and I will play a show at that fucking sphere in Las Vegas before next year is out and I won't need an 18k 12 person manned camera to shoot it because everything will be built in real time.
Thank you for reading this if you did. I'm excited about the future. I'm having fun for the first time in a long time and I feel like maybe y'all might catch some of the nuance of the audio reactive spatial doppler echo achieved in this 10 hour thing. I'm an open book, I'm happy to share sources, I'm looking for collaborators of any stripes. Making remote collaboration something unique and special is my heart.
Cheers.
