It's what i am doing those days and that is a good reason to write about that subject here.
In astrology, it's important to know the main planets of the solar system, their ephemerides and the twelve signs of the zodiac.
From this, we can draw up a chart of the sky, at a given time, for an observer located somewhere on our good old earth. The sky chart is the graphic and symbolic illustration of the locations of the planets in the zodiac signs at a given moment, using the ephemerides which indicate the exact location of each planet in the zodiac signs.
Considering each planet as an instrument and the zodiac as a succession of notes, using personal algorithms, mathematical tools and spreadsheets, I transposed the sky chart into a musical map and then into a score.
To establish the total duration of a piece, I chose to use 29 days of ephemeris, which corresponds to one lunar month or a lunation. The result is compositions slightly longer than 4 minutes.
In choosing the instruments or sounds to represent the ten main planets, I employed a fairly traditional symbolic reading : a pipe organ to illustrate Saturn, brass instruments for the sun and Jupiter, etc...
In anticipation of the forthcoming release* of my experimental astromusical productions, I invite you to send me your comments and questions. I'll be sure to reply.

Let me tell you what it's all about. It's not hard to understand, but it's a bit technical, so I'll try to keep it simple.
I'm passionate about astrology and experimental music. A few months ago, I was able to set up an experimental music project that combines my two passions.
